Members of the Buffalo Valley Neighbors Association (BVNA) live in Mifflinburg, Vicksburg, Lewisburg, and surrounding areas within Pennsylvania’s Union County and are drawn together by our mutual love and concern for our beautiful Buffalo Valley.

April 21st, 7:00 pm - Zoning Hearing Board for AgLime Plant - Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 2115 Strickler Road, Mifflinburg, PA

Outcome of the April 21st Zoning Hearing Board

The zoning hearing board voted unanimously to up hold the zoning officers denial of Ag Lime's Application! The denial was based on the fact that Ag Lime proposes an industrial business that services sewage waste plants, and thus; cannot be considered an appropriate use of agricultural lands in an agriculturally preserved area.

In short, the Human Sewage Waste Plant DOES NOT BELONG in an area zoned AGRICULTURE!

This decision is another BIG WIN for the BVNA and our community. We cannot forget there are still two appeals in the Common Court of Pleas and must continue to maintain focus and continue our fight. BVNA currently needs financial support to pay for ongoing legal fees. Please help by making a donation.
